Nutty Walnut Cake

Caution This one contains Nuts so avoid it if you have allergies





For my Nan's Nutty Walnut cake you will need

8oz or 227g of Plain Flour
1.5 Teaspoons of Baking powder
6oz or 170g of Margarine
6oz or 170g of Castor Sugar
3 - Eggs
2 x Tablespoons of Milk
3oz or 85 grams of chopped Walnuts

METHOD

Cream the Margarine and sugar together in a bowl.
Don't forget to Sieve the flour.

Beat the Eggs in one at a time adding a little flour at a time too after the first Egg. also add the Baking powder as you go too.

Once it is all mixed in nicely add the milk and Walnuts until it is all mixed and looking Yummy.

Place the mixture into a 7 inch cake tin and place in the middle of the pre heated oven Gas Mark 3 or 160 Centigrade for an 1.5 hours.

Now you can lick the mixing bowl clean and don't choke on the Nuts.

When the cake is cooked remove from the tin and place to cool on a cake stand out of reach of little children and Cats.

 Try not to pick bits off and eat them until it is cool like I have done in the past.
